Regional Conference
Hansen reported that registrations for the conference were very low. Everyone was encouraged to drum up interest and attendance. All programs were arranged and the hotel was informed about the requirements for meals and AV. The total income raised for the Regional conference from media sponsors is $3,800.00. [...]

Aeikens reported progress on filling in the ballot. Hill will stand as president, Borger as president-elect, Hansen as secretary and Knaak as treasurer. Board of Director candidates for four openings are Pumarlo, Petersen, Lowe, Glass, McMenamin, Walsh and Fedor. [...]

FOI Report
Dalglish discussed the December 20 arrest and equipment seizure of photographer Richard Bancroft. Bancroft was the only journalist who witnessed and photographed a police raid at the site of a Highway 55 expansion protest. He has retained attorney Mark Gehan to help prepare a suit to be filed in federal court. [...]
