Board members present: Joan Gilbertson, president; Nicole Garrison-Sprenger, president-elect; Dave Beal, treasurer; Scott Theisen, secretary; Art Hughes, past president; Karen Lundegaard, Andrew Tellijohn and Amanda Lutz, directors.

Elections
Gilbertson and Lutz tallied the election results and reported the following vote count to the board:

Officers
President-Elect: Scott Theisen 25
Treasurer: Dave Beal 24
Secretary: Sarah Bauer 25

Directors
Art Hughes 25
Jane Kirtley 19
Alyssa Ford 23
Andrew Tellijohn 23
Sarah McKenzie 17

Candidate Liz Cook received 16 votes.

Other business by e-mail between meetings

Page One Expenses
A motion was made by Garrison-Sprenger and seconded by Bauer to spend up to $1,700 for travel expenses of Page One guest speaker Byron Pitts. The motion passed 11-0 in a July 3 e-mail vote. The amount of $700 that was approved during the May 13 meeting was increased to cover higher airfare and travel expenses.

A motion was made by Theisen and seconded by Gilbertson to pay $2,906.12 to A.J. Schaake Co. for the Page One first place trophies. The motion passed with a 9-0 e-mail vote July 10.
