The Madison, Wis., SPJ chapter is co-sponsoring a reporting on religion conference March 14, 2016, in Madison.
The one-day event will feature journalists and scholars who will help participants gain a deeper understanding of the role religion plays in public life and how religion is represented – or not – in the news media. Besides SPJ, sponsors include the Lubar Institute for the Study of the Abrahamic Religions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism; and the Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation.
